Проблемот со името ќе се реши кога ќе престане проблемот на употреба на аргументот на силата, а ќе се разговара со аргументот на разумот.

Проблемот ќе се реши тогаш кога нашиот сосед ќе почне да не третира како народ со свои потреби, со свои чувства, емоции, достоинство, со своја историја, култура, нација македонска, со свој јазик и идентитет, народ со своја посебност, и да погледнат кон нас како кон луѓе, а не како кон предмети кои можат да се купат или под притисок да се убедат, рече премиерот и лидер на ВМРО-ДПМНЕ Никола Груевски обраќајќи се на 12. конференција на Унијата на жени на партијата.

- Нам ни треба разумен дијалог. Ние мораме да разговараме за подобро да се запознаеме и разбереме. Блокадите и отсуството на дијалог само не оддалечуваат. Се проба и со ембарго, се проба и со затворање на границата, се проба и со блокада за влез во НАТО, и блокада за влез во ЕУ. Слушнавме од поранешниот премиер, се пробало и со пари. Поминавме и низ многу други мрачни и мачни фази, време е да се разбере дека во оваа држава има два милиони луѓе кои делат исти вредности како и сите останати во ЕУ, луѓе кои живеат во 21. век и очекуваат да разговараат со вокабулар од 21 век, а не се барања како да сме на крајот на 19. или почетокот на 20 век, истакна Груевски.

Според него, сериозно искушение и предизвик беа уцените и притисоците за промена, не само на уставното име, туку и на идентитетот на Македонците. - Какви ли не црни сценарија ни се пласираа од страна на различни страни, кои требаше уцената за прифаќање на неприфатливото, да ја направат попримамлива, додаде премиерот и рече дека ВМРО-ДПМНЕ е партија која точно знае што сака и никакви притисоци од каков било вид не можат да ја изместат од зацртаното.

- Ние сакаме Македонија да стане членка на НАТО и ЕУ, тоа е наш врвен приоритет, сакаме Македонија да добие датум за преговори и не само тоа, туку и да ги започне и заврши тие преговори и да станеме полноправна членка на ЕУ, потенцира премиерот, додавајќи дека придобивките од ова се бројни и многу пати повторувани, но дека уцените од онаков тип, како што беа пласирани неодамна, не само што не може да се прифатат во ВМРО-ДПМНЕ, туку едноставно, како што вели, тоа не може да помине кај македонскиот народ, а јас би рекол и пошироко кај граѓаните на Република Македонија.

Повторувајќи дека деновиве се слушнаа и информации оти постоеле и специјални фондови за плаќање личности кои треба јавно да агитираат во правец да се наметнат позиции кои во нормален дијалог очигледно не проаѓаат, рече дека има работи, кои ниту со пари, ниту со агитација не се добиваат.

- Не сакаме ничија територија да преземаме, не сакаме ничија историја да украдеме, не сакаме никому ништо да му одземеме, но сакаме да го задржиме она што е наше, она што е нормално и природно барање на секој разумен човек кој живее на почетокот на 21 век. Сакаме пријателство, а не непријателство, прифаќаме и да се направи компромис, но не и диктат на услови и на уцени. Сакаме решение со кој и двете страни нема да се чувствуваат несреќно. Тоа е нашата борба, тоа беше и тоа е се уште наш голем предизвик за иднината, истакна премиерот и лидер на ВМРО-ДПМНЕ, Никола Груевски.

I think this is another solid statement from Gruevski, so long as he stays strong and helps retain our dignity as Macedonians, the majority of people will support him.

Don’t divide but acknowledge equally and with facts

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski together with Culture Minister Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska attended Sunday the opening of an annual exhibition of artifacts excavated at archaeological sites across the country in 2009.

- The amount that was excavated this year is small. There is a lot more to be done. The Government will continue to support nation-wide excavations, because artifacts are national and cultural treasure. In 2010 we plan to continue our support in this field, stated PM Gruevski after the opening at the Museum of Macedonia.

Asked whether some of the artifacts could help in strengthening country's position in the name dispute with Greece, Gruevski said it could be the case only if the argument of facts prevailed in the name talks. - Unfortunately, Greece negotiates with the argument of power, and lack of facts the PM stressed.

- Future generations will laugh at the fact that someone today is trying to divide people into ancient and Slavic Macedonians, noted the PM when asked whether Sunday's exhibition was an attempt to resume the process of antiquisation.

- Future generations will be stunned as to why someone in this period tried so hard to divide people into ancient and Slavic. It is ridiculous because both were part of past civilisations, he said adding that Macedonia was lying on a territory that was the home of many prominent or less prominent civilisations, which needed to be equally acknowledged by modern Macedonians.

SOM, It pisses me off very much when somebody is working so hard to save our name while some peasant thinks he can piss it all away and bring fear into everybody. Apparently he figured this out because our leaders are meeting more often with their Greek Counterparts, so that must mean that we are going to change our name. Its only now that we are making progress because they are not giving up like the others did in the 90s with the Illegal Greek Embargo.

Macedonian Prime Minister's Letterbox

In our never ending quest for the Truth, we often need to ask confronting questions of our various leaders. Many years ago I was researching a large listed company as a potential investment in my portfolio. My boss at the time suggested I ring the CEO directly to confirm the information I was after. It seemed quite a brash thing to do. But it was a very illuminating conversation and altered my perspective for the next 20 years.

In the same vein, I propose we ask our Prime Minister some questions that are important to such an extent that we would like clarification from the Prime Minister.

I would like to send a letter with these questions once a month to the Prime Minister's office.

Can you please put your questions here along with any explanatory dialogue. The issue will then be subject to consensus and quite possibly submitted to the Prime Minister in an open letter format.

You have a duty as an elected representative to above all else follow the will of the Macedonian people.

Stop the negotiations now, and pursue the restitution of our Constitutional name by taking the U.N to the ICJ and follow the advise of Prof. Janev in this matter.
