    On human rights

On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights the full text of which appears in the following pages. Following this historic act the Assembly called upon all Member countries to publicize the text of the Declaration and "to cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read and expounded principally in schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on the political status of countries or territories."

    Article 1.
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

    Article 15.
    (1) Everyone has the right to a nationality.
    (2) No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.

    Article 19.
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

    Article 20.
    (1) Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association.
    (2) No one may be compelled to belong to an association.

I don't remember countries signing some pact to honour the bible.
What relevance does your statement have in relation to human rights?

Human rights are based on biblical concepts.

And biblical concepts are based on Egyptian concepts.
Again, no countries signed a pact to honour the bible.
They did for Human Rights in 1948.
I accept that Greece is still firmly entrenched in 1830 ... but that does not mean you have to divert attention from the fact that these rights are still being violated in Greece.

but risto are you a human or a slav barbarian who wants to take over hellas.

ebi veter and his crew are useless time wasters i prefer the rabid crazy grkos who rant and rave a spit and bullshit about themselves and their little insignificant nation of wannabees.

bring back akritas istran chrsi phillipou metaxas the wanker form la trobe whats his vlach name. bring back ion dragoumis karavangelis the turkish colloberator, oops maybe a word that has collo as part of it is very appropriate when speaking about neo hellenes. because collo is where most of their ideas come from, especially ebi veters

                    Admin,
Time to take out the athenian trash again...
You want Macedonia? Come and take it from my blood!

A prosperous, independent and free Macedonia for Macedonians will be the ultimate revenge to our enemies.

His next post will determine whether he will be deleted. Look at the quality of the dialogue.

All irrelevant and totally oblivious to the significance of the subjects.

Spartan, where are you my friend ... I can't stand the stupidity of your co-nationals.

His next post determined he was indeed a wanker with no interest in dialogue. As a consequence, banned.

Here is a thought ... Greeks, try to talk like human beings and lets see how we can all move forward.

have to agree with you rtg spartan is an interesting and brave person to challenge the glorious greek position on macedonia,no mater how minute the difference to the norm its heresy in hellas. rtg its the gloating and egotistical pontificating about their rights to macedonia that exposes how fascist their ideology is. metaxas really screwed with their heads, no other nation in europe uses their fascist ideology as the basi for their national narrative except for hellas.

Osiris, if I was a Greek and I did not know you ... I would think you hated everything that is Greek with some of your comments. However, I have the pleasure of knowing you and know for a fact your concern for minorities around the world and your appreciation of the modern Greek culture. Whilst Greeks might find your comments extreme, they really should be looking inwards more and wondering what causes them to be so hateful.

rtg thanks man, i really dont give a damn what most greek posters think, they are in the majority human vermin. i have as you know lived in greece an experienced the good the bad and the ugly. i have experienced the most tender generousity as a child and as an adult in greece and i have also had to restrain my self when confronted with the pretensiousness arrogance and ignorance of the arvanovlachs i met there.
its a truism but it applies there are good and bad in all nations, but some nations political culture is indefensible hellas is top of this list.
