Why are you diverting the attention outside of Athens? Are you having trouble comprehending the words of the title? Address the issue at hand.

45% of 'Greece' was populated by Albanians

So, some have estimated that, when the Ottomans conquered the whole Greek territory in the XV century, some 45% of it was populated by Albanians (Trudgill, 1975:6). Another wave of Muslim Albanian migrations took place during the Ottoman period, mainly in the XVIII century (Trudgill, 1975:6; Banfi, 1994:19).

Now this is before any Megali Idea. And in the 15th century. As well as another round of Albanians in the 18th century And lest we forget every other race that swarmed in and out of that delapitated land.
    How very culturally "hellenic"

Ivintra, you made a generalisation that was quite offensive.
I replied with something quite amusing.
I have many Greek friends and always reply as if they were reading my posts. If you ever had a Macedonian friend, and I doubt it, you would not say what you did.
