Mastika, do you agree that the minorities in Macedonia should accept the fact that, while Macedonia tolerates and promotes dialogue among the different ethnicities, the Macedonians and their language should be acknowledged as the host ethnicity/language of the Macedonian state?

I would definately not use the word "host" to describe it. However I agree with what you have generally written. Ultimately, the Republic of Macedonia is the national state of the Macedonian people I think that most people (c.85-90%) accept this fact and work for the better of Macedonia. However it seems that 10-15% of the population (Albanians living in NW Macedonia + bugarasi) are not interested in working for the improvement of Macedonia. This is unnaceptable as Macedonia is their country and Albania/Bulgaria is not. Irredentism is no longer acceptable for any group in the Balkans. The Republic of Macedonia is here to stay whether people like it or not. If people do not like it then they are free to leave, which many people have (to Germany, Switzerland, Italy etc.) The Kosovars who stayed after their relocation to Macedonia must also learn to see Macedonia as their home or return to Kosovo.

Why would you not use host? Are the Macedonians not the native population of Macedonia? All the other ethnicities, stateless or otherwise, ultimately have their origins outside of Macedonia, with the possible exception of the Vlachs (although their language too, comes from outside of Macedonia).

Macedonia is, in theory, the national state of the Macedonian people, however I believe that it is too ethnically diverse to be, in practise, the nation state for the Macedonian people. I believe that once Macedonians reach 90%+ of the population then it would a nation-state in practise, however at the moment I would not consider it to be as such. It is simply not ethnically homogenous enough.

Why would I not use the word host?, because it implies that the minorities are gosti. They are not gosti, these people have lived in Macedonia for hundreds of years and numerous generations, Macedonia is their home too. Besides, gosti go home sooner or later, the minorities are not leaving. (eg. host would be an appropriate word to use when describing the influx of Kosovar reugees, in that case Macedonia was their host etc.)

Fair enough. I think one of the goals of the Macedonian Cause should always be the retainment of Macedonia as the nation-sate of the Macedonian people.

There are two important, relevant facts;

The disarmament of NLA was a complete farce, they still have all of their arsenal.

The border with kosovo is not secure and weapons can flow in very easy.

kosovo is run by the old UCK, it is not a functional society but a hotbed of crime.

Volk, We are talking about heavy weapons here surly somebody can see a group of people entering and how would they be able to transport the weapons? If they are big trucks, then surly our border patrol will see it.

big trucks? for trucks you need roads, they use donkeys through the mountain passes. Tanusevci is still under the control of 'black uniformed men'. This says quite alot

Volk, Surly theres a Police Patrol near by, Tanushevci is a very small village you could take it over in minutes. Especially when it comes to air support and heavy artilliry they wouldnt last the distance thats for sure.
