What sections should we have?

Some good ideas thrown up, but lets develop this slowly and with necessity in mind for as Coolski mentioned, the place is still a baby.

I think the three sections at the moment will do for the short term. The Exposing Propaganda section is a good initiative.

Momentarily I am not too keen on the creation of sub forums, but this may be called for later, for now the simpler the better. Perhaps later on when we build up an archive section we can sub-divide it in such a way?

Im pretty sure there is alot of people on here who have read the same books where we can discuss and add paragraphs from the book which we feel are highly important.

Maybe we can take this further and include things like youtube videos. I know they are not as accurate as books, but there are still quite a few that make sense, or ones that will just make you cry from too much bullshit. I guess the "The Great Otkriva" would be a more apt, but any area where we could debunk all the crap made by greeks and the rest in books or videos would be great.

What I haven't seen anywhere, and I think would be good for the forum is a section of quotes and articles, organized chronologically, to serve as a reference point.

For example, your 'Archive & Reference' section may have 25 'sticky' threads which are in the form off:

1900 - 1999
1800 - 1899
1700 - 1799
1600 - 1699

etc, etc ... each one being it's own thread containing (no discussion) posts referencing just articles, quotes and links, etc to sources written in that time period regarding Macedonia.

Then, for each one of those 'sources' or posts on those threads, you could create a new thread, discussing the quote/article/source and then update the post in the thread in the '1800 - 1899' section (for example) to end with a link to the discussion on that quote/article/source.

It would make things really great for finding quotes and sources from a certain time-frame, as well as clicking the link to viewing the discussion on them.

Then as good threads develop on the Macedonian History section with more articles/sources/etc ... you can organise them by adding the article/source into the relevant time-frame thread (without the full discussion) and then link to the discussion on that article/source

Perhaps it's early, but it's good to organise things early, it becomes much harder to organise it all when there's hundreds or thousands of posts to be moved.

Just a suggestion. What do you think?

I agree, together we are stronger plus a connection between Macedonians from the Diaspora and the Republic are very important. It;s a great place for building and uniting ourselves.

What if we have a Macedonian Discussions board for all topics and news related to Macedonia and leave the General Discussions board for jokes and chat etc... That way they aren't mixed together in the one board... Just an idea.
