Does anyone know a good duplicate file finding and management program.
I once saw a long time ago a program that had one directory in one window and another directory in another window side by side allowing you to view and act on duplicate files.

Auslogics Duplicate File Finder is basic but also f.ed in that it selects duplicate files some from this directory and some from the other directory expecting you to then just merge them so it doesn’t matter according to them which directory had the duplicate file deleted.

Not so correct if the files are updated versions and you would want deletions only from the first directory.

Does anyone know the name of the program I described or have a program that works in a similar way.

I'm after a tracking device for my Blackberry storm. A device where i can track the people stored on my phone. I know its available just don't know where. you need google maps i think (which i have). cheers.

Oh.... and a tracking device aplication incase i loose my phone (which i did a month and a half ago) where i can track my lost phone on the net on any laptop or pc...... poz

It looks interesting but I am on a contract with my 3G service and not worth switching and when I shift later I intend to use adsl because I think the I think the adsl offers are better.

I don’t know if it will be of any use to anyone...maybe Indigen... nor have I tried them so I cannot recommend them but something worth considering.

They are a broadband company formed from channal 7 tv.
It is a 4G signal so it is supposed to be faster than the currant 3G broadband offered
The plans are generaly dearer than the currant 3G from the major telcos
But one plan they have is unlimited downloads for 75 dollars which is not bad but the catch is only one computer or device can connect to it.

If anyone goes for this service maybe they could post back here and share their experience.

The University of Information Sciences and Technology in Ohrid on Monday launched the first Macedonian supercomputer. The new electronic machine can execute three thousand million operations per second. In seconds you can count several times the entire population of the globe.
"Supercomputers, which created the PhD students, lecturers and students at the University second-year costs as much as a 'golf -5'. For comparison, a server cost 20 to 30 thousand euros. Simple to use and has broad application," says Dear Kimovski , assistant professor of information technology and one of the leaders of the project for development of supercomputers.
The new machine uses superelektronska Linuk system is composed of several connected computers and may have broad application. In particular it will be useful for higher education institutions.
The practical application of superkomojuterot will be shown on December 20 in Ohrid.

Digitally processed over 24,000 documents on the cultural heritage of Macedonia

Skopje, December 6, 2010 (AFP) - over 24,000 documents, mostly from the Conservation Centre - Skopje and part of the National Conservation Centre are digitized by a professional team in the Regional Centre for digitization of cultural heritage which is housed at the Museum of Contemporary Art and is part of Office for Protection of Cultural Heritage.

- I am very pleased that the center began to function well. First I will digitize the entire cultural heritage of Macedonia, and then proceed with the digitization of the heritage of the region. Besides the strategy for the digitization of cultural heritage that is sent to government procedure, you will begin staffing the center for more intensive work. For the Republic of Macedonia is very important the establishment of this center with the support of UNESCO, the first in the Balkans. As a country we showed that we can deal with new technologies and to digitalize our cultural heritage first, then with the region to vmrezhime and participate in other projects, said Minister Kanceska-Milevska who today visited the Centre.

Pasko Kuzman, director of the Office for Protection of Cultural Heritage, said that about 20 institutions responsible for protection of cultural heritage are included in the center (offices and museums, the National Institute, the Cinematheque, MANU, archives ...).

- Hopefully in a few years will penetrate deeper into the digitalization of the country's cultural heritage to be the basis for further communication with the other SEE countries which accepted the Center for Digital to be in Skopje, he said.

Coordinator at the center Lazar Schumann informed that over 24 thousand documents that six employees worked from August this year is a very small part of the archives that hold institutions in Macedonia for cultural heritage.

The goal is the complete documentation to be archived and systematized in electronic form, which is important from security point of view - because that way it remains available in case of earthquake and other disasters, according to Schumann. He added that advanced from Macedonia in this complex process are Croatia and Romania.
