"Rango" - the film in which animators from the Macedonian computer graphics company, FX3X, were involved - won on Sunday evening an Oscar for best animated feature film.

FX3X CEO Kristijan Danilovski and supervisors Marko Culev, Dragan Sretenovski and Bojan Tikvarovski, who worked on the project, are satisfied and proud of their success.

"The Oscar is a huge recognition of the hard work done by our team throughout 2011. It's also a great honor for FX3X's animation crew, an encouragement and motivation for future projects. The award will open many doors in Hollywood for us and we must seize the opportunity," says Danilovski.

"Rango" triumphed at the Academy Awards over "Kung Fu Panda 2", "Puss in Boots" and two foreign-language films, "A Cat in Paris" and "Chico & Rita."

A FX3X team also designed some of the visual effects in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon", which was also nominated for an Oscar for visual effects.

Silent movie "The Artist" has triumphed at the Sunday's Oscars, winning five awards including best picture, best director and best actor for Jean Dujardin.
