Firstly, I would like to thank you for a well reasoned, and profound post. This is not sarcasm, I find that there is currently a deficiency of such posts.
It is not that I selectively criticize, but that certain issues to me deserve criticism. As you recall I did completely agree with you that the acceptance of the Democratic prefix was not right. I even went further to condemn the statement, but after hearing the reasoning I forgave the offense, I did not forget it. The same goes for other area's of trespass. I will condemn those actions that jeopardize my rights, but I will not damn an entire organization and it's beneficial attributes because of a lapse in judgment.
I would not necessarily describe it as bias, as neither I nor CT are actual members of UMD. We are not stakeholders in this argument, we stand to gain nothing if UMD falls, we also stand to gain nothing (personally) if UMD succeeds. I believe that both CT and myself can envisage certain beneficial attributes to Macedonians everywhere, meaning that it's reform should be more important than it's destruction and outright condemnation.
I understand that you have your view, and as CT and I have said previously, we are not here to change your opinion. I have openly supported them where support has been warranted, you also know I have had my fair share of questions. My question's were answered, as were CT's, and that is all we have to say about the matter.
From what I saw of CT's involvement in the thread, it was particularly about the reaction to the question of UMD's involvement in Australia on the survey. I believe he was right. UMD left an option expressing dissatisfaction in their involvement in Australia, and if the sentiment here serves as any sort of representation of the Aussie-Macedonian community, I don't think you guys have anything to worry about because it will only confirm your allegations. I believe many of you understand that this was specifically a UMD-University cooperative, without the involvement of other organizations, nor did other organizations develop any sort of similar idea so as to ask their own questions. So honestly, you wouldn't expect AMHRC or WMC or UM, to include questions, on their own sponsored surveys, about other NGO's.
Maknews still has some relevance. Yes he has grown a bit intolerant at times, but he truly cares for Macedonia, and he would not have been so actively involved had it not been for that ambition. Were it not for Maknews, none of us would know each other, MTO would not exist, and our general cognizance of the Macedonian Diaspora/Cause would not be what it is today. At the very least credit him with the fact that he gave us a tool with which to organize and rationalize our thoughts.
I understand your quarrel with UMD, and I don't necessarily disagree with your concerns, but I do have a bit more confidence in their intent, as well as their actions. It is not my intent to convince you of this, but merely to achieve a mutual understanding of our individual assertions. I am sorry that they treated you like that, but if you had the chance to personally convey your concerns, I believe you would perhaps understand what I mean.
I intended merely to cool off the tension in the thread. If you wish me to discontinue my participation in the thread, I will oblige. You are right, I said my piece, I questioned my position, but I did not return to a fully supportive position. It is from this forum that I learned to question every action of any organization claiming to represent me. I have become more involved as a result. My support is not due to Meto's word, nor is it due to my blind allegiance, it comes from a hopeful ideal, that those in a position to help will do so.
As I stated before, UMD has it's role in helping Macedonia. It has blatant and clandestine attributes that are valuable not only in terms of Diaspora consciousness, but also in domestic support. Of course, it is not my intention to convince you of this, and I do not wish to. The last thing I would want is a 'status quo' because this, in itself, is detrimental to the diaspora.
I have definitely put my efforts to more beneficial practices since I began these arguments on Maknews and the MTO. I am genuinely flattered that you consider me such an asset, and I wish to assure you that I am not merely sitting on my bum typing. Rest assured, my intent is always genuine, and whether or not my practice coincides with what is preached, my goal will always be a free and united Macedonia.
Like I acknowledged above, I understand the sentiment, and I would never portray it as your personal campaign.
I apologize, it just seems that you tend to react more harshly towards profanity, when it seems, at least to me, that personal insult is far more provoking.

This is a great shame, because I consider neither of you stupid or ignorant, so the reasons for your persistent apologetic defence of the UMD can only be put down to some particular sympathies or bias.
To be honest, I couldn't care less. At least you're an open UMD supporter, this 'CT' apparently thinks of himself a beacon of objectivity. In the case you haven't noticed, I am not the only one that is saying the opposite to what he is, nor am I the only person that is against the UMD and what they stand for.

Maknews lost the plot a long time ago, whereas my vision and reasons for having such views are clear. Question me on anything, I can write a book about how I was supportive of the UMD, how I defended them against others here and Maknews for months on end, and how, when I wanted to delve into the matter myself, I was treated like a nobody by Meto Koloski and those sidekicks of his who I can't be bothered mentioning.

I don't know what you're trying to do here with your comment, but I suggest you step back a little, you know me pretty well now, you said your piece before and I respected your word, but you know that we sit on opposite sides of the fence with this issue and I have went in several circles time and again to convince you of the obvious. You almost saw the light, but you backed off, lest Meto lose another supporter.
That's cool, in that regard you differ little from maknews himself, you people aren't supporting the UMD because it's the right thing for Macedonia, you're supporting them to keep some 'status quo', in the hope that those jesters will finally come good. Forgive me if I don't feel like supporting a baloney organisation that needs to vote on wether or not Macedonia should remain in these pathetic name talks. Where the rest of the world sees the obvious, you make excuses, like I said before, it's a big shame, your energy could be put to something more positive and concrete instead of these bananas who seem to have cheese and cracker parties on boats every few months, in the 'name' of Macedonia.

Or the sentiments of 95% voters from a total of 46. The only other person that voted for the UMD aside from Meto is yourself, Buktop. You can disgregard the voters as nothing and consider yourself in the right, or you can consider logic. Just don't start pretending like this anti-UMD sentiment started with me.

By the way, I threatened nobody with a ban for using the word 'hell', I asked the individual to watch his mouth. Had I been in a civil discussion with yourself and you applied the same terminology, I would have told you the same. Don't drag others into the conversation.
