Don't you agree?

vodenka if that is true then a lot of people may be able to get their lands back."Ido not want an uprising of people that would leave me at the first failure, I want revolution with citizens able to bear all the temptations to a prolonged struggle, what, because of the fierce political conditions, will be our guide or cattle to the slaughterhouse"

As for the confiscated properties, the greek constitution does protect private property and it is not possible by the state to confiscate anything, except maybe for debts to the state (taxes).
If there was a serious organization of Macedonians from Egejska with this kind of problems, and good lawyers, even abroad, they could get a successful result. Now that Macedonians are allowed to get to their villages and cities and collect documents, it is even easier.

Nothing is lost.

Julie, yesterday we gained legal advice that your mother has in fact been stripped of her citizenship. This probably means that to get it back, she will need to join the legal action we organised together with the Macedonian begaltsi in Skopje, on behalf of Macedonians who have been stripped of their citizenship and property rights.
If it comes to that, don't worry, we will add your mother to the list of applicants - we will be in touch over the next few days.
Pozdrav.

The stripping of her Greek citizenship is a separate issue and if it absolutely turns out to be the case (which is how it looks on the legal advice we received yesterday) then to regain that, Velika will need to consider joining the legal action we (the AMHRC, MHRMI and Detsa Begaltsi Steering Committee based in Skopje) organised against Greece, on behalf of all those Macedonians who have been stripped of both their citizenship and property rights. But please note, these are two separate issues.

I don't understand how an 8 year old travelling under her mother's passport into RoM gets stripped of Greek citizenship, ludicrous, especially seeing she has no political involvement with any party whatsoever, and never has had, having an aversion to it as a result of the family splitting during the civil war"The moral revolution - the revolution of the mind, heart and soul of an enslaved people, is our greatest task."__________________Gotse Delchev
