Gruevski doesn't have a majority in the parliament. Of course he'll be the prime minister but his alliance with DUI will be absolutely necessary for him to maintain his power, so DUI will get more privileges.
Of course DUI will also have a couple of less mps this time because of the generally low level of participation of the Albanian minority and the entrance of Rufi Osmani in the parliament will pressure them to increase their minority issues policies.
That makes the motives behind the "diaspora candidates" quite obvious I think. Without them Gruevski would have about 53 mps in a parliament where 61 one are needed to be the majority, so given the rise of RDK DUI would probably have less than 8 mps so...no government for Gruevski unless he invited another Albanian party and let me tell you that triple alliances are too shaky.

also what was the diaspora vote how many voted."Ido not want an uprising of people that would leave me at the first failure, I want revolution with citizens able to bear all the temptations to a prolonged struggle, what, because of the fierce political conditions, will be our guide or cattle to the slaughterhouse"

Given the hurdles and disincentives they created just to register to be eligible to vote, it's a wonder anyone voted at all.
To put it into perspective, there are just over 10,000 Macedonians who carry Macedonian Passports, living in Australia and an average of 10,000 Macedonians from Australia travel to the Republic of Macedonia per year.
Now, these 10,000 Macedonians could be, and should be, in any normal circumstance, eligible to vote - as citizens and as Passport holders.
However, with the disincentives and the unbelievable process, as well as the very limited time frames, it's no wonder that only 7% of the people who should be eligible to vote (given they are citizens) were able to be registered to vote. Of those eligible to vote, 80% went and cast their votes.
That's not mentioning the many who were turned back and prevented from casting their vote because they "weren't on the list" (the arrogance of the Macedonian electoral commission representatives is astounding and very much so an indicator of all Administration in Macedonia, but I digress), despite checking and confirming that they are on the sec.mk website, etc.
You're right though, the Diaspora has very little political influence on the Republic of Macedonia.
By comparison, here's some insight into the Diaspora's economic influence:
