        Looks like the Greek Cypriot fascists beat a black man and several other asian immigrants at the anniversary of Turkish military operation to ease their inner hate. They cant do that towards Turks anymore, so they attack african and asian immigrants instead in Greek southern Cyprus.

        Nigerian beaten by racist mob

        A NIGERIAN man was beaten and injured by a club-wielding mob and a car windshield smashed in the process in central Nicosia on Tuesday night, police said yesterday.

        According to the owner of the car, the 25-year-old was being chased by some 15 youths on Makarios Avenue who wore black t-shirts and wielded clubs.

        The Nigerian suffered abrasions and injuries to his upper lip. He was kept in hospital for observation after he complained of pains in his head.

        “He was chased by a group of youths … and in his effort to cross the street he fell on the hood of the car,” police said.

        The youths caught up with the man, beating him with the clubs and smashing the car windshield in the process. Police yesterday could not offer any more details on the incident and would not speculate on the motives of the attack.

        “We are treating this seriously,” police spokesman Michalis Katsounotos, without getting into details of the investigation.

        The incident coincided with a march through Nicosia -- to mark the 36th anniversary of the Turkish invasion -- by the National Popular Front (ELAM).

        Photos uploaded on the organisation’s website show hundreds of ELAM members, clad in black t-shirts and mostly jeans, wielding Greek flags on thick pieces of wood, and marching with military precision.

        Some two hours before the incident, an eyewitness saw members of the group – near the old Nicosia hospital – on their way to Ledra Palace, harassing two Asian youths.

        The witness said the leader of the group was shouting at them prompting the youths to leave the area without further incident.

        And it looks like they were doing this in every anniversary of Turkish military operation and no one even gets arrested either;

        Sudanese girl beaten in vicious racist attack

        A 15-YEAR-OLD Sudanese girl was in hospital yesterday after she was badly beaten in an unprovoked racist attack on Thursday night. The teenager was attacked by dozens of youths after a volleyball match between Akaki gymnasium and a Strovolos secondary school.

        “They kicked her, punched her, pulled her hair and told her to go home as foreigners are not welcome here,” said Doros Polycarpou, leader of immigrant support group, KISA.

        The young girl, who is Cypriot citizen from African descent, was a player in the Akaki team. The attack occurred following the match’s conclusion, which saw the 15-year-old’s team victorious.

        “At first she was attacked by one of the other team’s players and then suddenly everyone lunged at her, including fans,” said Polycarpou.

        When the girl’s coach tried to defend her, he was threatened with a beating.

        “They had to call 199 and it was only when the police arrived that the beating stopped,” he said.

        But the only thing the police did to protect the girl was to lock her in the school until her father arrived to take her to hospital.

        “No one was arrested. No statements were taken. No one was charged,” said Polycarpou.

        Extremists target KISA

        A FASCIST group is believed to be behind the vandalising of KISA (Action for Equality, Support and Antiracism) headquarters in central Nicosia.

        According to the centre’s managers, the vandals sprayed swastikas on the doors and walls of the colonial building headquarters in the old Nicosia area. The walls of the building were also sprayed with the slogan ‘Zito to ethnos’ (Long live the nation).

        KISA officials yesterday pointed out that it was the first time that the group have been physically targeted by a neo-fascist or neo-Nazi organisation. “These people usually seem to target Turkish Cypriots.”

        Two weeks ago, a group of around 30 fascist youths gate-crashed a bicommunal event. Enraged by the event, the youngsters shouted nationalist slogans and waved flags at the demonstrators. Some were also caught on camera making Nazi salutes to the demonstrators.

        I remember these "National Popular Front (ELAM)" fascists.

        At some spots, there is no buffer zone at the Turkish and Greek Cypriot border and it`s only protected by barbed wires. 100s of these ELAM fascists was coming to these weak spots once in a year and they were crossing the border to vandalize Turkish and UN army checkpoints. There are UN soldiers at these spots but they couldn't prevent their actions. Our Turkish soldiers was just watching them from 100mt away by doing nothing and Greeks couldn't dare to attack our armed soldiers either. They were just vandalizing everything they see, swearing and yelling to our soldiers for few hours and go back.

        One time, they have gone too far about 15 years ago. They crushed and vandalized everything and 100s of them get passed UN soldiers and they tried to invade the northern Cyprus. One fascist was trying to pull down Turkish flag to burn it at the front of our soldiers, ofc he has been shot down by Turkish soldiers and dropped dead b4 doing that.

        That was the last time these ELAM fascists came close to our border and since then, it looks like they are beating 15 year old black girls and asian kids in Greek Cypriot. I was thinking that the dead Greek guy would be a good lesson for them but apparently it wasn't.

          Onur,

          They are all mighty and powerful against defenceless innocent people but only when they are in there little safe zones.

          But as history shows, when a real challenge enters there little safe zone, they run like scared little rats that they are.

          The ancient Hellenes would have been brave and "allegedly" were wise.
          Nothing Brave and wise about these so called Greeks of today. This is more proof that the modern Greeks have nothing to do with the Ancient Greeks.

                  Im not sure about that Turkish actor though, who confesses on television.

                    The Turkish actor has been watching or reading to much Hollywood news. Possibly his career has taken a dive, and what usualy helps someones career? controversial exposure. If his acting career does not take off after this, some book deal will certainly feel up his pockets.

                    Prolet, You said Totally one sided, Its usually the case, there is always two sides of the story though Greeks do like to exaggerate and love calling the kettle black.

                    The third video, it is totally disgusting if there is truth to it. Those poor women and children.
                    My only query is, what evidence do they have that they were actual accounts of events from real people.

                    We had one video footage of a actual eye witness (not voice overs) of the napalm bombings. Yet we have Greeks such as the fool on a scooter (who is now banned) not accepting it and wanted evidence. Not sure what he wanted, possibly human remains or something, but what i am getting at, is they expect us to believe there stories while they deny anything our people say when the shoe is on the other foot.

                      He has been interrogated after his speech on the tv and he told that this was only a scenario for a new movie. Then later it turned out that he participated for Turkish military operation at Cyprus but he never entered any combat because he was just a laborer in the kitchen to prepare and serve food to the other soldiers.

                      I don't think there wasn't any crime in there because it was a war and war itself is a crime but sometimes you get forced to do that just like the case in Cyprus. Like the PM of Cyprus declared himself, they were going to commit genocide upon Turkish population in there if Turkey wouldn't interfere.

                      I am also certain that 9 out of 10(if not all) individual accusations of Greeks was simply lies because Turkish operation ended in 36 hours and Turkish soldiers didn't get pass current border of Turkish Cyprus. Greeks also knew that Turkish soldiers will come to the island and they moved about 20.000 soldiers from Greece and EOKA terrorists to the northern side and they waited us. In that time, i am sure that most of Greeks already escaped to the southern side.

                      About 15.000 Turkish soldiers divided in three battalion and completely surrounded the Greek soldiers. Then the fathers of these "National Popular Front" fascists fled like chickens by leaving all of their ammunition behind, thats why we took about half of the island in 36 hours and whole operation ended in 48 hours. I wonder is it possible to realize all these accusations of Greeks in 36 hours even if Turkish soldiers would try. I think not.

                      But the crimes and whole massacres committed by Greeks between 11 years of period are very well documented and all the mass graves of Turkish primary school kids has been recorded.

                      You can find 100s of newspaper reports around the world and UN reports about the massacres of Turks done by Greeks between 1963 to 1974;

                      This is a British memorial web site which shows detailed documents of EOKA terrorist actions towards British people in the island between 1955-1959. They did disgusting things to British as well, including bombings and stabbings of the kids and pregnant wives of British personnel;

                        Why the hell would they deal with a Greek Priest for? As it shows on the clips, religion should have nothing to do with politics a priest or a bishop should be preaching peace and harmony and be spreading the good news not hatred and killings.

                              Greece is still like a medieval theocratic state in this term. Greek church still controls politics and education. They are the primal reason of unending hate vs their neighboring countries, mainly vs Turkey and Macedonia. They poison little kid`s minds with hate propaganda.

                              Didn't you know that the history books in Greece and Cyprus for primary school education are full of false propaganda and dramatic brutal stories which portrays Turks as the barbarian mongols.

                              One time, some Greek professors tried to water down the severity of these anti-Turkish propaganda from their school books but the Greek church didn't allow this;

                              Greek Church attacks history book

                              Controversy is raging in Greece over a new school history book, which critics say is designed to improve relations with Greece's ancient rival, Turkey.

                              Leading opposition is the Orthodox church, which says the book waters down the severity of Turkish brutality towards Greece over the centuries. Critics say children's understanding of Greece's history will be corrupted. But the book's authors and supporters say it is essential to soften language used to describe modern Greek history.

                              Once a year Greeks gather to celebrate independence. The ceremonies mark the day in 1821 when the war of liberation began and Greeks rose up against their rulers, the Turkish Ottoman empire.

                              It is a day of oral history for the young participants, when the country's elders recount details of Greek heroism and Turkish barbarity.

                              But the new text book, which is devoid of animosity towards the Turks and omits stories of violence, takes a different approach.

                              Public controversy
                              This is obvious especially when it refers to the war of independence and what the Greeks call the great catastrophe of 1922 when they were driven out of western Turkey.

                              The Orthodox church calls the book shameful because its role in the resistance movement and the shaping of the nation is also downplayed. But theologian George Mustakis says it's essential to sto remove bigotry and extreme nationalism from accounts of the country's recent history.

                              "The book tries to eliminate the words which challenge and brings in front of us the bitter memories. It's a good thing, but we are not mature (enough) to accept such a book", George Mustakis said.

                              The British memorial page relates the events in Cyprus in an unbiased way;

                              You know, i always say that current EU member Greek only Cyprus is a Greece Junta product and a fascist state. Now read this short information about the past presidents of Greek Cyprus since 1974 `till today(quote from British web site);

                              BY 2007, the Greek Cypriot Government of the Republic of (South) Cyprus was still regarded by the UN Nations as the only legitimate authority of the whole island. It was also a member of the EU. Many former Eoka members still held senior positions in the administration, with Tassos Papadopoulos as President. He was one of Eoka's key players in Nicosia. In 1964, he had advocated the immediate extermination of all Cypriot Turks should Turkey invade.

                              Former RoC President Glafcos Clerides was also a leading member of Eoka. He was alleged to have been in command of Nicosia's Ledra Street - 'Murder Mile' - assassins, who included Nicos Sampson. Clerides, an RAF navigator in World War II, was a London-trained and highly skilled lawyer. During the Eoka period, in addition to his other activities, he acted as defence attorney for terrorist suspects arrested, charged and tried by the British. For a period in 1955-56 Charles Foley, the editor of The Times of Cyprus employed Sampson as a freelance. Foley later befriended Grivas for whom he ghosted the terrorist's 'autobiography'. The editor's personal lawyer was Glafcos Clerides.

                              Nicos Sampson, who posed as a photojournalist, was one of the worst terrorists. His favorite targets were unarmed British service personnel, police officers and civilian families out shopping in Ledra Street. He shot them in the back and then photographed their bodies for publication in the local press. He was appointed President on 15 July 1974 following the Eoka-B instigated coup that toppled MAKARIOS and brought about the permanent division of Cyprus between Turks and Greeks. At his press conference on 18.07.74, Sampson demonstrated his emotional instability and lack of knowledge in front of international television cameras and scores of journalists. British correspondents noted his record as the killer of several British soldiers in 'Murder Mile' - Ledra Street - during the Eoka conflict. Rauf Denktas, the leader of the Turkish Cypriots, declared Sampson's appointment as 'unacceptable as Adolf Hitler being made President of Israel'. Three days after the Turkish Army landings in Cyprus on 20 July 1974 to protect Ankara's interests in the Island, the mainland Greek junta announced it was returning the country to civilian hands. With the Greek generals no longer holding power in Athens, Sampson was removed from the presidency in Nicosia as speedily as he had moved in. 'Had Turkey not intervened,' Sampson told the Greek newspaper, Eleftherotipia, on 26.02.81, ' I would not only have proclaimed Enosis but I would have annihilated the Turks in Cyprus as well.'

                              As you can see, all four former president of EU member Greek Cyprus since 1974 `till today are terrorist EOKA members who actively participated in bombings and assassinations. You know why? because they are considered as "brave hellenic heroes" according to Greek politics.
