"FRIENDS OF MACEDONIA" MEP GROUP PROMOTED IN BRUSSELS
Skopje, 10 Febryary 2011 year
Today in Brussels, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Antonio Milošoski, together with Deputy Prime Minister, Vasko Naumovski, officially promoted the establishment of the “Friends of Macedonia” MEP group at the European Parliament.
The group‘s list of members initially includes around 15 MEP’s, among whom are Martin Kastler, Zoran Thaler, Eduard Kukan, Monica Macovei and others, having, as well, a tendency to expand with its future work.
The initiative for establishing the group was launched last year by the Republic of Macedonia and was met with great interest on the part of the friends of Macedonia within the European Parliament.
