Last night on the AFL footy show James Brayshaw mentioned the Macedonian Marvel Peter Daicos, shortly after Sam Newman piped in and said he is from Bosnia-Herzegovnia!
Did any other members hear that?

PS:- Peter & his parents are from Banitsa, Aegean Macedonia.

Not much happened after, they moved on quickly, I sent Sam an email on his "Sam's mailbag" site, let's see if he replies or gets back to me!

I rarely watch the footy show anymore but if I recall correctly, Sam often pulls out random nationalities when talking about players. Fairly sure he's only taking the piss.

Over the years when Peter Daicos has been mention Sam would joke that he comes from Bosnia.

Peter Daicos once was on the show and same asked Peter where Macedonia was on the map and joked if it was a part of bosnia or near bosnia (something along those lines)

I don't think he really thinks Peter is from bosnia - he is just being 'funny'
