Paul Trajan calls for referendum on name whether to continue negotiations

iceman: No refurendum needed just pull out of these stupid negotations

    Paul Trajan 's referendum name
Paul Trajan again elected chairman of the Democratic Alliance , the fourth congress , held in Skopje today .

The leader of the Democratic Alliance proposed a consultative referendum in which citizens will declare whether and to what compromise in negotiations with Greece . The referendum , he said, will provide alliance of all political and civil forces , the Macedonian negotiators would allow the mandate of citizens , more essential to engage in talks and find a solution to unblock the Euro-Atlantic processes .
Trajan 's revived and initiatives : pre- dialogue with the EU , phase resolution of the name issue and project indiscriminate fight against organized crime and corruption , DEKRA and the " Vardar Valley " .
The congress adopted a platform for action under the slogan " we can do more ."

Unfortunately this is a problem that extends beyond the interests of just the citizens of Macedonia.
This is why a referendum is a silly idea, I certainly don't want a recently arrived shiptar from Kosovo having a say on my identity as a Macedonian.

We've got this guy crying out for a referendum, we had some other clown wanting to ban the use of the Kutlesh flag just recently, it just shows the pathetic calibre of Macedonian politicians.

The art of negotiation is a little more strategic than just bending over for the greeks at every photo opportunity that presents itself or blatant prostitution.

Negotiation may have its place (for example, the price of a donkey at the stockyard), but there are things that are simply non-negotiable and no negotiations (no matter how grand/master strategy-ish they may be) should ever take place for fundamental issues such as identity and national sovereignty. Macedonians of the calibre of the komiti knew this (hence the slogan freedom or death). Most Macedonians these days think that is a nice but meaningless buzz word and something that belongs in the past. They consider themselves to be modern (progressive and peacefull in the negative sense). Identity and freedom mean nothing to them - they are simply items to be traded at the stockyard for temporary personal gain.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations...This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution. John Adams
