    iGenea's Germanics, Slavs, Phoenicians

Ok people, something is messy around here.

Germanics, who are these people's? Are the Vlaches in both Macedonia and Greece counted as Germanics?

Slavs, who are these people, given that iGenea is making a difference between a Slav and Macedonia. Are the Slavs the people who were invading the balkans in the middle ages, or are those Pontiacs from Russia, who were recent migrators in Greece?

And finally... Phoenicians. Greece, Albania have huge Phoenician %%.

Given the number of Albanians who were living in Greece prior they became Socrates's sons, this may be a very well proof that Albanians are not native to the Balkans. You may see Phoenician %% in many countries.

Alas, Phoenicia was not such an enormous land. Is it, as i think, that Phoenician represents Middle-Easter/Caucassus peoples?

It smells like a dead rat.

The whole thing is loaded with garbage.

In their quest to identify things and name them, a few things got screwed up along the way.

      Hey zeus lover,

      Let me explain:

By Slavic, the authors of the study mean R1a, a dna cluster usually high in Slavic speaking people. Thus, people who have 10% R1a, like Syria, is said to have 10% Slavic in them.

Germanic: people who have a particular DNA cluster found in high levels in germanic speaking people.

As for Phoenician: people in south west asia, traditionally Lebanon. I don't think this would apply to Syria or other Middle Eastern countries; mostly Lebanon.

The ancient Lebanese, the Phoenician, were masters of the sea and travelled throughout the Mediterrean Sea; they intermixed with Balkans people.

      This study has its flaws.
