Iran Placing Missiles in Venezuela; Can Reach the U.S.

    Iran will response to NATO`s defense system by planting missile systems with 1500km range capability in America which will cover US soil. It looks like the political climate will be even more hotter in near future;

Iran Placing Medium-Range Missiles in Venezuela; Can Reach the U.S.

Iran is planning to place medium-range missiles on Venezuelan soil, based on western information sources, according to an article in the German daily, Die Welt, of November 25, 2010. According to the article, an agreement between the two countries was signed during the last visit o Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to Tehran on October19, 2010. The previously undisclosed contract provides for the establishment of a jointly operated military base in Venezuela, and the joint development of ground-to-ground missiles.

At a moment when NATO members found an agreement, in the recent Lisbon summit (19-20 November 2010), to develop a Missile Defence capability to protect NATO's populations and territories in Europe against ballistic missile attacks from the East (namely, Iran), Iran's counter-move consists in establishing a strategic base in the South American continent - in the United States's soft underbelly.

According to Die Welt, Venezuela has agreed to allow Iran to establish a military base manned by Iranian missile officers, soldiers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Venezuelan missile officers. In addition, Iran has given permission for the missiles to be used in case of an "emergency". In return, the agreement states that Venezuela can use these facilities for "national needs" – radically increasing the threat to neighbors like Colombia. The German daily claims that according to the agreement, Iranian Shahab 3 (range 1300-1500 km), Scud-B (285-330 km) and Scud-C (300, 500 and 700 km) will be deployed in the proposed base. It says that Iran also pledged to help Venezuela in rocket technology expertise, including intensive training of officers

Venezuela has also become the country through which Iran intends to bypass UN sanctions. Following a new round of UN sanctions against the Islamic Republic, for example, Russia decided not to sell five battalions of S-300PMU-1 air defence systems to Iran. These weapons, along with a number of other weapons, were part of a deal, signed in 2007, worth $800 million. Now that these weapons cannot be delivered to Iran, Russia is looking for new customers; according to the Russian press agency Novosti, it found one: Venezuela.

If Iran, therefore, cannot get the S-300 missiles directly from Russia, it can still have them through its proxy, Venezuela, and deploy them against its staunchest enemy, the U.S..

But that is not all. According to Reuters, Iran has developed a version of the Russian S-300 missile and will test-fire it soon, as declared by the official news agency IRNA, two months after Moscow cancelled the delivery to comply with United Nations sanctions. Iran, in fact, has its own capabilities for constructing missiles that could carry atomic warheads. According to a study recently released by the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London, Iran is presently aiming to perfect the already existing solid-fuel, medium-range missile that can carry a nuke to hit regional targets, such as Israel. If a missile base can be opened in Venezuela, many US cities will be able to be reached from there even with short-medium range missiles.

If Iran can place these missiles to Venezuela, then i don't think US or Israel can attack Iran anymore because US always carries their military operations by trusting their own country`s virtually unreachable status. Since mostly the recently immigrated south American US soldiers dies in middle-east and US society are getting feed by the propaganda of Pentagon controlled media non-stop, US officials are currently safe without a danger of living another Vietnam phenomenon in their own country. You can see the effect of this mass propaganda among ordinary US citizens. Most of them still thinks that they are bringing democracy to the middle-eastern countries and they speak like dying millions of people in there are just like insects to kill or just ordinary casualties in the process.

But if Iran can place missiles to America, i don't think US can risk of getting attacked on his own soil which could possibly lead to a great social disturbance in the US society.

2013 is the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination and the year his files are due to be released…everyone has been waiting on this

2012 is the 50th anniversary of the last time the world came to the brink of destruction…the Cuban missile crisis which ended in October 1962

December 2012 is supposed to be the end of the world…take 2 on the destruction thing maybe if nothing stops it in Oct 2012.

Ever watched the film Final Destination…2000...IMBD tt019514. Deaths a bitch.

Australian intelligence agencies fear that Israel may launch military strikes against Iran and Tehran's pursuit of nuclear capabilities could draw the US and Australia into a potential nuclear war in the Middle East.

I know that Australia is still kinda vassal of England, therefore US`s too but i think they should start to free their mind anymore and remember that they have a beautiful country in another continent 1000s of km away from middle-east. Why Australia should automatically involve in to Iran if Israel attacks them??? Why Australian soldiers should die in Iran because of this? How come Australian government convinces people for that? Or Australian army mostly consist of recent immigrants just like the US army, so their lives are not that important?

Israel has deep connections with Australia, USA, UK, France. So if Israel goes to war, these puppets have to follow them and die for Israel. After a year or two, they will say "we defeated the terrorists" and call it "Operation Iranian Freedom" and destabilize the country by putting minorities in control just like Iraq.

I don't understand how these countries can support Israel over Iran, when Israel is the one terrorizing Islamic countries and their populations with horrific weapons.

Have you not heard the saying we are the 51st state of USA.

Until Vietnam war Australia behaved like a Brithish colony with stupid UK economic advisors whose brilliant…read self serving…advice was Australia should stick with mining and sheep…which we are famous for…hence infrastructure and tertiary business was on a lesser degree. Eg compare natural resource of Netherlands Sweden and Australia and you would think Australia should be richest by far yet Netherland dominates banking finance insurance and pension funds.

During the Vietnam war Prime Minister Holt change Australia’s path towards usa and made the famous saying All the way with LBJ ie usa President Lyndon B Johnson. Even though Holt supported USA he disappeared under suspicious circumstances in Dec 1967 while swimming at the beach presumed drowned and the body never found even though he was regular swimmer for exercise and security guards were at the beach. Since Holt and maybe a little before Australia has almost been the 51st state of USA.
