Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki is going to pay an official visit to India on Jan. 20-24, news reaching here from Skopje reported Monday.
This is his first official visit to the Asian country, and he will attend the opening ceremony of Macedonia's embassy in New Delhi, a press release from Macedonia's Foreign Ministry said.
During his stay in India, Milososki will meet with his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee, Parliament Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, as well as leader of the opposition Indian People's Party, Lal Krishan Advani.
They are expected to talk about the prospects for the enhancement of general bilateral relations between Macedonia and India, with emphasis on strengthening economic cooperation, commercial and cultural exchanges, Xinhua reported.
