Their (DPNE) brand of nationalism is devoid of true patriotism. They are trying to create a new and artificial ideology rather than preserving that which has been ours for centuries. It is a half-assed version of nationalism, irrespective of how many statues they intend to put up. You can't call yourself a nationalist or patriot because you put up a few statues yet negotiate the historical identity of your people and appease irredentist extremists who tried to tear apart the state only a decade ago. We need 100%. Not this 50% which Gruevski and his lackeys are selling.
Gruevski isn't even 50%, he's 0%. The core of nationalism is self-rule for the nation. What DPMNE is doing is continuing Macedonia's vassal status - rule by a foreign government(s).

True, I do ask you this however, when is it 100% and when is it realistic? Couldn't it be argued that it cannot be 100% until full efforts where made to reunite Macedonia? That would be the final objective?

Then you look at the situation Macedonia is in and one can clearly see its survival is much more imperative than any reunification... yes?

My point is certain people, see that survival as something as the only goal... That is very dangerous because it has meant the take over of albanians and talks on our very existence... What those fears have achieved is offering the exact things we should be protecting.

Our survival is our right and our country, history and culture goes along with that. You cannot sacrifice any of it if your true goal is to survive... Sadly this is happening now, for the sake of "survival"... fear at its ugliest!!

Som has made an excellent pointTheir (DPNE) brand of nationalism is devoid of true patriotism. ""They are trying to create a new and artificial ideology rather than preserving that which has been ours for centuries.""
Where macedonia is concerned do you think its real nationalism.I don't think so because we are allways giving in to our enemies. We are not preserving our sovereignity.Sovereignity is critical to our survival.Volk you are right when you say that survival is the thing but if politicians are selling us short how is that going to happen.(survival)

You guys are wrong, Dpmne is a very nationalist party..... Albanian nationalist that is. Think about it, have you ever seen this much Albanian nationalism with any other previous government.

George S. 01-19-2012 08:16 PM

It is a pretend party & pretend nationalism. They aren't really serious with half baked ideas no wonder they are in cohoots with the albanians their choice is clear. They have accepted the fatalism of their choice of capitulation & compromise.THey have lost the war before it starts.

hahahaha thats a good one....

It is so obvious that Dpmne is nothing more then a puppet party part of the greater albanian monster, its a tenticle that is raeching into macedonia and strangling it slowly. It doesnt do ANYTHING for macedonians, it just focuses on albanian demands.

Think about it, places were albanians have a decent population are getting some really good infrastucture and development. All of eastern macedonia looks like the slums. Bitola has lost it majesty and importance while tetovo is a booming and modern city.

I hate hearing VMRO cheerleaders worshiping Gruevski because Skopje is getting much needed revamp. Macedonia is much more then Skopje, and perhaps if it didnt have as many shiptars in it maybe we wouldnt see that much of a revamp.

The biggest joke of all is seeing western media claim Dpmne as a "nationalist party", talk about ignorance. But i guess seeing macedonians look at Dpme is even more stupid, espicially the Dpmne cheerleaders in macedonia who see greater albania come into fruitation on a daily basis.....

I had some relatives over from Macedonia who were raving about DPmNE. "Tho only party FOR Macedonia" apparently.

Then again, what would sheep know.

Dear Macedonian's

As I am first time poster, however a longtime reader of this inspirational forum. Let me tell you that it is a true*pleasure knowing that there is organization such as the MTO exposing the real - upcoming threat of Albanianization in Macedonia.*

Having made the move from Australia to Macedonia since March 2011 (my first taste of Macedonia as well). I have since been touring all of Western / Northern Macedonia eg; Gostivar, Struga, Debar, Tetovo, Kumanovo, Zajas, Arachinovo' and allot of isolated and remote villages in these regions.

I made this move because, as a concerned Macedonian - who, like many of us are a little confused and overwhelmed by the sheer vastness of the changes our U.S controlled government are simultaneously attempting to implement across our Macedonia.

I have been wondering on a daily basis. What can I, as one person, do to make a difference in Macedonia?"*

Pozdrav *

Welcome ar_makedon armageddon (AMA).
Having a perspective like yours in Macedonia seems to be rare. I would suggest that making your perspective known in Macedonia would be quite confronting over there.

Start a political party. The politicians get the best money, whores and drugs. Macedonian political parties have the same sheen as bikie organisations in the western world. Sounds like an alternative lifestyle some would aspire to.

My opinion is that the country is gone already. Unless you can incite a civil war, nothing will change the current trend towards a quasi state federalised on ethnic divisions.
