Who's building the mosques in Macedonia? By Zoran Mitevski Over 350 mosques were built in Macedonia in the last ten years. Only in the capital and its surroundings there are a dozen new mosques, often built without a building permit and without complete documentation necessary for the facility to be legal. Expansion of new mosques is evident in western Macedonia, and in the northern parts of the country. But recent years they have been built around Shtip and Valandovo. Sources of funding mosques is not insignificant data. He who donated the construction can later control its affairs. However, this data is difficult to find. According to rough estimates from construction firms that deal with the construction of mosques, to make such an object requires more than one million euros. Only the minaret can cost 50 to 60 thousand euros. The difference in price depends on the materials used for construction of the facility, the number of minarets and the mosque's size. It is interesting that new mosques were built in Macedonia according to the Saudi Arabic model, unlike the older ones built from the Ottoman Empire. According to intelligence sources, the most money for the construction of mosques came from Arab states such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Egypt. Officially, however, the most money was paid by the Government of Saudi Arabia. The money originally intended to open schools and to promote religion, and the pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina. Ten years ago believers leaving for pilgrimage traveled with a bus, which meant up to 50 people from Macedonia, but the last few years there are from 25 to 30 buses. According to official information from the Muslim community, shipping these believers paid by the Government of Saudi Arabia, whose population is 97 percent (or 25 million people) is Muslim. In the last 10 years a billion euros entered Macedonia for the spread of Islam, of which 600 million were allocated for the construction of mosques. Other funds used for pilgrimage, other premises, and Roma aid scholarships. According to experts in this area, the largest importer of radical Islam in the country is Saudi Arabia. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, where it is considered that radical Islam spread to Macedonia, the largest financier for the construction of mosques is the Government of Saudi Arabia. With its support in Bosnia constructed about 140 mosques and the mega-mosque of Sarajevo King Fahd. The list of other countries that are major funders of the construction of mosques in Macedonia are Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, Libya and Egypt. Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) funded the reconstruction Mustafa pashina mosque. According to information, all firms will enlist the public tender for the reconstruction or construction of an object, later becoming donors entering the country in the same way as in Bosnia and Herzegovina, southern Bulgaria, in Chechnya and Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Alot of these guys may be part of global terror manpower pools used by certain interests, including the socalled West. I go back to my Anglo-Islamic alliance theory mainly over control of oil. This is whats really going on. The transcaucasus is another good example of that.

Not sure if that was a promotion. But still nothing to be proud about. I can see the EU getting so excited about Albanians coming to meetings. |
How about the tearing of the uck monuments or are the rom govt too scared to upset the albanians.I'll bet gruevski knew all alng of what was going on ut that he wanted "to wash his hands of the matter"Did any apoologies come out ??To me the whole thing is like a silly joke & the joke is on us further loss of soveregnity. But the joke is on us & it's not funny.

Its not like he went looking for them and shot them. From what I understood about the case, the two albos attacked him they fought and he shot them, the key point being that they say witnesses saw him shoot the two albos after they had already started backing away. In that type of situation even if he shot them after they started backing off its hard to say it was premeditated because they started the fight, there was two of them vs 1, and he had his little daughter with him. In the USA I think this would have went his way. |
I don't know the reality of the case. But I feel confident that it would be far too politically charged to ever charge an ethnic Albanian in Macedonia in a similar fashion. Here is modern FYROM.
