Indigen this is for me without doubt the most depressing thread on the whole site.

I cannot help feeling the idea for action and the formed decision and agreement for action was over and done with a long time ago and we as external observers not privy to the full details of those agreements are only now witnessing the delayed physical manifestation of those long ago agreements…the countries already been sold and we are only now witnessing the furniture removalists moving about while we scream you cant sell the house.

I’m sure you know the only thing that stops a contract be enacted but I think even this has been made mute by threats and now the bribes exist to call it by sweet names…human rights integration multiculturalism…read eat shit and call it icecream…to save face for those powers forcing the action ie eu usa instead of calling the action for what it is…armed robbery at gun point and hence by their action the real label for those powers.
if the macedonian govt does not have the guts or the balls to do something then macedonian will become secondarry to albanian.Allready the people are becoming second class citizens.
George, why dont the macedonian people stand up to the government and DEMAND for help?

Fair enough the macedonian majority are scared of the albanian minority, but surely they can put some pressure on to the lazy and toothless macedonian government?

If the toothless and slave-like macedonian government cant control a few thousand gheg goat herders, then surely 65% of the macedonian population would strike fear into the corrupt yugoslavs that run our country be able to put a bit of pressure on gruevski and co to do something?
I was speaking about this with a guest who just arrived from Macedonia last night. He looked at the pictures here and said if there was no Macedonian flag showing in those areas (near any other flags), police with machine guns would have been at these locations to rectify the problem.

What are your thoughts?
Heh, that bloke reminds me of the people that said that they would never let Ohrid and struga become albanian...

or the type of people who would "kill" if macedonia was forced to change its name and flag (whooops!)

or the people who today say that something "bad" will happen to gruevski when/if he changes our name and identity for good. ...

All talk and no action, just how many times must macedonians be WALKED OVER and treated like second rate SCUM in order for them to stand up and ask to be treated fairly? Or perhaps, the unfortunate has happened and macedonians are happy and used to being degraded on a daily basis?

In Tetovo And Gostivar "War" Waged At Night

Posters with photographs of National Liberation Army (UCK) fighters, calling on ethnic Albanians to join en masse the August 11 celebration of the first anniversary of the battle near the village of Radusa, near Skopje, "adorned" the main square in Gostivar for several days

by Dejan NIKOLOVSKI

Dnevnik, Skopje, Macedonia, August 13, 2002

Posters with photographs of National Liberation Army (UCK) fighters, calling on ethnic Albanians to join en masse the August 11 celebration of the first anniversary of the battle near the village of Radusa, near Skopje, disturbed residents of Gostivar for several days. The posters, put up in the center of the city, right next to the department store, called all ethnic Albanians to join en masse the large celebration in the village of Radusa, near Skopje, and to pay respects to the UCK heroes. Residents of Gostivar say that they are bitter, disgusted and disturbed by this humiliating act.

"Every ethnic Macedonian and honorable resident of Gostivar feels humiliated after seeing UCK posters on the main city square. That revolting and shameful act celebrates those responsible for massacres near Vejce, Karpalak, Ljuboten, for beastly maltreatment of ‘Mavrovo' construction workers and thousands of other crimes. We wonder whether Gostivar is still in Macedonia? We went to the police station in the city, guarded by more than twenty armed policemen, to report the incident. They politely thanked us and told us that they were going to check what was going on. However, the following day the posters not only had not been taken off at the main square, but had in the meantime been put up all over the city," says a group of dissatisfied residents of Gostivar.

According to them, the local ethnic Albanian TV stations keep broadcasting footage of UCK, Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) or Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac Liberation Army (UCPMB) fighters in action or reports about new monuments commemorating UCK fighters in some village in Macedonia. Residents of Gostivar claim that the local authorities still refuse to raise Macedonian state flags on official holidays, while in contrast Albanian state flags can be seen all the time.

"Residents of Gostivar and the surrounding region are distrustful and fearful because of consistent shooting from the firearms that can be heard every night. These bursts of fire from automatic guns or individual shots are not controlled by anyone, and we doubt that anyone in the country can prevent them. In such circumstances there can be no trust and security among the population," say bitter residents of Gostivar.

Residents of Tetovo and its environs also do not recall a peaceful night. In Tetovo shooting can be heard all over the city. Residents of Tetovo say that shooting starts immediately after sunset. The shooting is so intense that practically there is no difference with respect to the last year when the region was in the midst of a military crisis.

"Last year we at least knew that there was a war and who was shooting at whom. Now, we know nothing. Neither who is shooting nor why. Shots can be regularly heard also coming from parts of the city with ethnic Macedonian majority, as well as in those with ethnic Albanian majority. Everyone knows that UCK members haven't turned over all their weapons. They have kept large numbers of their weapons and are now shooting without control. The same is happening with police reservists. They haven't returned their weapons. Last night, after hearing shots fired from the parts of the city with the ethnic Albanian majority, we could immediately hear shots fired from ethnic Macedonian districts. As if they are competing in shooting," one elderly resident of the city relates with disappointment.

He says that due to shooting, it is not safe to walk Tetovo streets at night and that several recent daytime murders and armed attacks that took place at the city center inspire fear and insecurity among residents of Tetovo.

Private School in Macedonia "Yahya Kemal" Favors Albanians over Macedonians

In August 2010, the private Turkish company in Macedonia "Yahya Kemal College" announced it will spend 5 million euros to construct a modern high school complex for Albanians. It will be located near the Albanian village of Bogovinje on the Tetovo-Gostivar highway. It will be complete with a modern facility, skating rink, football field, tennis courts, and more. The facility will proudly be adorned with the Albanianized word "TETOVA" large enough to be seen by drivers passing by on the highway. See for yourself at the promotional video:

First of all in what kind of dream do you all live in? Do you honestly think that the inbred lower race would be able to do all these things without the constant support and financing from USA and EU?
This whole process is something they carefully planed in the last 20 years, and nothing that happened in the last 20 years in the Balkans with the all wars and the greater albanian expansion is a project supported and finanec by EU, USA and the Vatican.
But most macedonians live in denial and 90% support the eu and nato integration which means they approve all of this.
