This is only one part of a broader project. There are two more instalments in progress that are due to be posted in the coming months and will cover subsequent historical periods. They will likely be published at some point down the track (with modifications), but for now, they can serve as a collective example of serious research here at the MTO. Appreciate the suggestion nonetheless. It is a shame that more scholars from Macedonia have not taken this approach towards the history of Bulgaria. They have dedicated a disproportionate amount of time being defensive when they should have directed some of the effort at exposing the foundations of the weak narrative used to attack Macedonia. Hence the title.
