Such a significant bill should've been put before the people during an election. The politicians should've staked their positions on it. Instead, they have completely disenfranchised the people by passing an unnecessary piece of legislation which places even greater power in the hands of politicians. A sad day for Victoria. Amazing how quick certain cross-benchers and even the Ombudsman changed their tune. All it basically took was a little semantics and the inclusion of useless ambiguities like "in the opinion of the minister" and "on reasonable grounds" for it to be passed, as if that makes any difference to the current regime in Victoria.

If this went before the people during an election, it would have been game over for Andrews, he knew that and his handlers knew that.

This episode goes to show many things unfavorable about this state and country:

        - that corruption is far more widespread and insidious than most dared imagine.
        - that the system of government and the political system as a whole is fundamentally flawed.
        - that there is no accountability for those that we "elect".
        - that there is even less accountability for those that are unelected.

"Power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely"
"Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority"

Not anymore. Any business that toes the govco line does not deserve a single cent of my money. There are other ways for me to entice new clients and reward existing ones for their custom.

Far too many have no backbone Risto, no conviction and taken leave of their critical thinking faculties. Whilst the beer virus episode woke many people out of their slumber, it put to sleep many more.

Watching those people in the hazmat suits telling her to stay behind the yellow tape reminded me of Forest Whitaker in The Experiment. And the fact that the other close contacts were allowed to quarantine at home means someone (?) was able to make an arbitrary decision to apply some of the "rules" in her case alone, which is equally disturbing.

Victoria is currently building such a facility at a site that currently serves as an animal quarantine facility (it would be funny if it wasn't true). Queensland is building two of them and calling one an "accommodation centre" because, you know, Alcatraz was apparently an "island getaway" destination.

A small victory. But nevertheless useful.

The full bench of the Fair Work Commission has found a decision by mining giant BHP to make COVID-19 vaccinations at a Hunter Valley mine mandatory was not lawful or reasonable.

More than 30 workers at BHP Billiton's Mt Arthur coal mine were stood down after being unable to provide evidence of their vaccination status.

Lawyers for union officials fought against the mandate, arguing there was a lack of consultation.

On Friday the commission's full bench said the direction was not covered by the mine's enterprise agreement for workers.

The CFMEU, which spearheaded the court action, says the decision is a "win for the rights of workers" and slammed BHP as "arrogant" in the way it went about imposing the mandate.

BHP said it was "assessing the implications of the decision" and noted that the commission had acknowledged the dangers posed by COVID-19.

The dispute had been deemed a '"seminal case" because of its potential ramifications for workplace vaccination rules.

But in its judgement, the commission said the outcome might have been different if BHP had handled things differently:

"Had the respondent consulted the employees in accordance with its consultation obligations – such that we could have been satisfied that the decision to introduce the site access requirement was the outcome of a meaningful consultation process – the above considerations would have provided a strong case in favour of a conclusion that the site access requirement was a reasonable direction."

                    'BHP was arrogant', union says
CFMEU Northern Mining and NSW Energy District president Peter Jordan said the company had acted without seeking feedback from its employees.

"BHP was arrogant in imposing its mandatory vaccination policy without genuine workforce consultation or the backing of a public health order," he said.

"We are pleased the full bench of the Fair Work Commission has determined that the site access requirement at Mt Arthur was not a lawful or reasonable direction.

"The decision is a win for the rights of workers to be genuinely consulted about matters affecting them under state workplace health and safety laws.

"We will continue to work through the detail of this decision and represent the interests of all our members — especially those who have been stood down without pay as a result of this unlawful direction."

Workplace law expert Michael Tooma says the commission's judgement is "very important".

"It shows what we have known for some time — that the Achilles heel to the mandatory vaccination programs that are being run is really this consultation point, and the full bench really focused in on consultation," he said.

"What's good about this is that we now have some clarity as to the minimum expectations in relation to a [vaccination] program and how that is to be rolled out — and we have a full bench decision and the full bench is not saying, 'You can't do this.'

"What they're saying is, 'You need to do it properly.'"

                    'The science is clear'
In a statement, BHP noted that the Fair Work Commission had acknowledged the risks of COVID-19 and said in its judgement that "further consultation should occur".

"The science is clear that vaccination saves lives," the statement said.

"BHP supports widespread vaccination as the path forward for the Australian economy.

"We are assessing the implications of the decision and will work with the commission, our people, and union representatives to ensure our workplace remains as safe as possible for our people, their families and the community."

'Consultation' and 'mandatory' missing from documents
Before the decision today BHP's legal team told the commission that "the status quo" was "that health and safety controls must be complied with" and said it was was obliged to protect its workforce.

But at an earlier hearing the workers argued that the mandate was unlawful because it did not comply with consultation requirements in their employment agreement.

BHP rejected that claim and told the court it sought feedback from staff via company emails sent to employees.

But workers who gave evidence said there had been issues around accessing company emails.

BHP's health and safety representative was questioned in depth about consultation and acknowledged that prior to the mandate being announced the word "consultation" was not used.

The health and safety representative also agreed that in advice issued three days before the October 7 announcement company documents did not include the word "mandatory".

                        HERO ALERT

Four days after the Pfizer vaccine was approved for ages 16+, we submitted a Freedom of Information Act Request to the FDA for all of the data within Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine biological product file. We have now sued the FDA for not releasing the data. Click below for court documents and for productions of Pfizer’s documents from the FDA.
                        lo and behold,

That report which available on the website tells us that from 1 DEC 2020 to 28 FEB 2021, Pfizer received a total of 42,086 adverse case reports (25,379 medically confirmed and 16,707 non-medically confirmed) containing 158,893 adverse events.

                        Of those, 1,223 were fatal.

And the FDA didn't want anyone to see that. Meanwhile, the TGA (Australia equivalent) blindly accepts what the FDA is doing as being best practice.

Can any pro-jab person explain to me how anyone can mandate something which has a chance of killing us (particularly given it does not reduce transmission or deaths from covid)?

German Chancellor Angela Merkel says people who are not vaccinated will be barred from non-essential stores, and cultural and recreational venues. The nation's parliament will also consider a general vaccine mandate as part of efforts to curb coronavirus infections as the number of new cases again tops 70,000 in 24 hours........Ms Merkel herself backed the most contentious proposal of imposing a general vaccine mandate.

Greece says it will make COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory for people aged 60 and older in a move to quell a resurgent virus that is burdening a frail healthcare system. Authorities said those who failed to comply from January 16 would face a recurring monthly fine of 100 euros ($159).......A 100 euro fine is a hefty chunk of the average monthly pension of 730 euros ($1,160).

Mass vaccination of the demographic that has the least chance of catching the virus, let alone suffering severe symptoms or death, which means the overwhelming majority will be vaccinated for nothing. Great idea. And they say money has nothing to do with it.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has provisionally approved the Pfizer vaccine as safe and effective for use among Australian children aged five to 11-years-old. Subject to final approvals, the Australian Government expects to start rolling out the vaccine to children from January 10 next year. The vaccine dose approved by the TGA for children aged 5 to 11 is the same safe and effective vaccine used for other age cohorts, however is one-third the dose approved for those aged 12 and over. Health Minister Greg Hunt said a batch testing team and a TGA team "will be working right through Christmas, right through the New Year" ahead of the provisional rollout date. "The message for Australians is very clear... Australian children will have access to Pfizer vaccines and it is recommended for children right across Australia," Mr Hunt said. "It is about keeping our kids safe, keeping our families safe, keeping all Australians safe."

There isn't a chance of it killing people, the Pfizer cocktail WILL kill people, the only unknown is how many millions will die from it.

This country is at the point where the beer viruses cases being reported are almost exclusively comprised of vaccinated individuals having adverse reactions to their inoculations.

South Australian Senator Alex Antic was taken into hotel quarantine under police escort in Adelaide on Thursday night. The senator who has been very vocal against vaccine mandates is now forced to quarantine for two weeks.

The bizarre incident comes after Prime Minister Scott Morrison insisted in an interview last Friday that the senator has received both doses of the COVID vaccine.

The senator was asked by ABC Radio Adelaide on Friday why he was taken to a hotel to quarantine for two weeks to which he responded:

                                “That’s a very good question.

I’ve been a person who has been very, very vocal about mandates, vaccine passports, discrimination, government overreach and bureaucratic overreach.

Now all of a sudden I seem to have been singled out in what appears to be a political stunt and the only inference you can really draw from this is this has been quite premeditated.

My wife and my three-month-child are now at home for another two weeks without me.”

Scott Morrison has revealed he was “surprised” that Antic was detained and locked up in a medi-hotel for the unvaccinated on Thursday night because he believed he had been fully vaccinated.

“It was certainly my understanding that he’d been double vaccinated. And I had discussed vaccinations and made it very clear that that’s what I understood him to be, double vaccinated. So I was surprised.”
Antic is solid and informed. This is his "reward" for speaking out.
