The Kaliningrad blockade is the biggest development since the war began (not a lot of coverage in the msm).

One escalation step closer to WW3 today. The West by de facto putting Kaliningrad under seige is goading Russia to roll into the Baltics.

Not looking good at all. It looks like Poland has threatened Russia with a no-fly zone over Western Ukraine.

I would hate to see the Russians moving from Special Military Operation and all of the constraint that comes with that to full blown war footing...

It certainly looks like it’s heading in that direction...I’d hate to be the Poles and the Baltic states if it gets to that...

            1) Russian KINZHAL missile in action

            2) Kaliningrad Gambit – NATO Preemptive Strike Scenario

(This was published in early 2021)

With wargaming showing that US forces could be overrun within 48 hours in a war with Russia. Could a preemptive strike against Kalinigrad turn the tide?

            3) Russian Foreign Ministry statement on Lithuania's partial blockade of Kaliningrad:

              1) Orthodox church (of the Moscow Patriarchate) has been burned in Lviv/Lvov

              2) "Elements of the Russian Black Sea Fleet have left their ports & are moving towards Odessa; if true, possibly connected to Ukrainian strikes against Russian oil platforms near Crimea today & renewed attacks on Snake Island."

There’s been heaps of talk that the Russians have plans to seize Odessa (Phase 3) especially now that a land bridge has been established and secured, other reports have suggested that Russian landing ships have been gathering in the Black Sea.

This will allow the Russians to attack and resupply from the east and also attack from the Black Sea...assuming they have enough manpower for now...it looks like they’re setting up the chess pieces for their next big move.

The fortification of Snake Island continues, Russia has been installing
air defense systems on the island and this process continues to be disrupted from time-to-time by the Ukrainians but like all theatres of battle across Ukraine, the Russians continue to methodically dismember Ukraine of not just land but their manpower as well.

                  Latest developments:

                  - Germany and Italy considering imposing a State of Emergency due to limited gas supplies from Russia

                  - Zakharova: "The Ukraine that you and I had known, within the borders that used to be, no longer exists, and will never exist again. This is evident."

                  - The EU Ambassador to Russia was summoned to the Foreign Ministry on June 21 due to the restriction of transit to the Kaliningrad region. The EU must correct the situation with the blockade of Kaliningrad, or Russia will have a "free hand" to resolve the issue by any means.

After the threats of the Russian Federation due to the ban on transit of sanctioned goods to Kaliningrad, the United States promised Lithuania "iron obligations" from NATO.

                  - Russia has become the main supplier of oil to China. Exports to China in May increased by 55% compared to last year (Reuters)

Fidel Castro quote from more than 30 years ago:

“The next war in Europe will be between Russia and fascism, except that fascism will be called democracy.”
