Does anybody know exactly what positions Hollande has for France ? Or is he just another immigrant friendly socialist making empty promises ? Europe needs austerity measures, without them they will end up bloated like the USA. There really is no way around it. Does it suck ? Yes, it does. Is it for the better long term ? Yes, it is. You cant just spend your way out of a problem without bringing in income. What I like about Sarkozy is his stance against foreigners and that they have to conform to society or else they dont belong here. Le Pen is also a refreshing candadite but unfortunatly I dont see that happening. The Far Right in general is making ground across Europe. For the first time I can remember Chrysi Avgi is over 5 percent in the election ratings slated for May 6th and growing. To be honest Im growing more sympathetic to them every day that passes.

You cannot compare Golden Down fascists with Marine Le Pen`s FN party. FN has roots in France and it`s an old political movement with proper strategies while Golden Dawn`s base consists of delusional fascist Greek youth wearing black hoods with clubs or making stupid scenes in Athens streets with their army uniforms and doing push-ups, military training moves.

Their biggest success can be slaughtering pigs in front of Ottoman era mosques or demolishing Turkish graves but thats it.

Golden Down`s increase in support for most likely your country`s miserable condition and nothing to do with the party itself. I mean, even if you have enough funds to create a political party and air some commercials on tv channels, i bet you would have a chance to get 5% in Greece because people mostly likely fed up with the existing parties and looking for new stuff even if it`s only few delusional fascists.

Hollande is also a Jew like Sarkozy pro EU pro big banks - like the imaginary difference between Obama and Bush, the same or worse. Le Pen is the ONLY salvation for France and the French People and a SLIGHT hope for Macedonia, but in my view death to the EU and a slight chance for Macedonia is better than NO chance at all as is the case with Sarkozy or Hollande.

The French will be sorry for Sarkozy and even more so for Hollande like the USA people were who voted for Bush because Clinton was crap only to find bigger crap in Bush so then they switched to Obama as the savoir only to get even bigger crap - the old imaginary left/right paradigme while in the background Sarkozy and Hollande have dinner and drinks - remember the photos of the Bush's and Obama's together?, yeah we really hate each other, Not!

They treat the public like fools because that's how they behave, although it is a self fulfilling prophesy because of the chemicals they pump into our food, water, toiletries, household/industrial products are dumbing down society while exploding diseases - once, a very long lime ago, a eg sports star would visit a young child with cancer and it was newsworthy because it was a rare event while now children with cancer are common and told they are 'in the club' and get special exclusive toys in hospitals. It is not impossible to turn it around but the likes of Le Pen, Ron Paul and Rand Paul and the General with a Polish sounding name I can't think of now, and Nigel Farange and the likes need to win - WE the people have the power to vote in our salvation if we can keep a sane thought together long enough to the next election.

SOM, I am sympathtic to those that love the country and are willing to go the extra mile for it. These "thugs" at the moment are protecting the elderly in crime ridden areas such as Aghio Panteleimona, Arxanon and other areas of Athens that were once prosperous. These "thugs" escort the elderly from the banks to their homes in order to collect their social security and not get robbed by the time they set foot on the street. They are out there filling in the vacuum where the Greek state have left them abandoned fending for themselves while the rich live undisturbed through their crooked ways. Chrysi Avgi will go after the corrupt politicians, prosecute, and jail them for treason. I believe it when they say that. Thats why our political spectrum are shaking right now if they gain power. How often is it that our political parties agree on anything ? Yet in one day all the poltical parties from ND, PASOK, KKE, SYRIZA and everyone united against Chrysi Avgi for the verbal "attack" on a PASOK minister in marousi. Trying to protect a future cultural genocide from happening is not racist. We cant help the refugees that come here and they have to undertand that.

Onur, GD may not be as "finessed" as France's Le Pen's party but they both share the same ideas along with every other far right party in Europe.

Hey I dont agree with everything they do and I dont agree with how they treat other ethnic people that have lived in Greece for ages. However, they are the only ones that are willing to prosecute these treasonous bastards we have right now and they are the only ones that will stop the flow of foreign elements into my country. France is approaching the 'point of no return' - it's not as alarming as it sounds as it is a bit of a way to go but measures need to be considered while there is time and not when it becomes a burning issue.

In working class neighbourhoods of Athens, Golden Dawn has been quietly building itself up as a friendly, reliable face among hard-hit Greeks that the state has failed to help.

For over a year, party members have given needy families bags of rice and pasta, olive oil and clothes in cartons labelled: "I vote for Golden Dawn to clean up the place" and "For Athens to become Greek again".

Former Socialist voter Katerina Karousi, a 76-year old cancer patient, broke down in sobs when party members showed up at her doorstep with large bags of food on Friday morning.

"I hear they are doing nice things for people. Why not vote for them?" said her husband, 79-year old Andreas Karoussis.

On their way out, a Golden Dawn member bade the couple farewell with: "Call us if you need anything - I mean anything."

At another stop, 41-year-old Constantina Tassiou looked bewildered and overwhelmed as Golden Dawn members piled clothes and supermarket bags at her doorstep.

"It's the first time someone has brought us clothes and food. Only the church has helped us so far," said Tassiou, an epilepsy sufferer whose family lives on her welfare benefits. "I'll vote for Golden Dawn, maybe it's time for something new."

Elsewhere, Golden Dawn escorts the elderly who are wary of immigrants to bank ATMs, said spokesman Elias Panagiotaros.

The group has little sympathy for the political class. Politicians behind Greece's crisis must be hauled before a special court, jailed and their property seized, the group says, while any Greek refusing to join the conscript army will be stripped of their citizenship and exiled.

^ The highlighted part in bold is what means the most to me. They are the only party openly stating this. I will vote for any party that can make that happen. These bastards must serve time and their possession taken away from them and their families. That and immigration of course.
