          ???????????????????????
I know of two tragic histories in the world- that of Ireland, and that of Macedonia. Both of them have been deprived and tormented.

This map is based on religion (i.e church followed) isn't it?

Those statistics correspond to the population of Epirus in late 19th century.

Sanjak of Preveza - in light orange (yellow-ish) that is closed with the Gulf of Arta.
                > Greeks - 26,402
                > Albanians - 21,092
Sanjak of Janina - in light pink over the Sanjak of Preveza
                > Greeks - 69,147
                > Albanians - 25,527
                > Vlachs - 33,156
Sanjak of Agyrocastro - in yellow over the Sanjak of Janine
                > Albanians - 60,872
                > Greeks - 18,972
I did not include other parts, because in total the map passes the borders of Epirus.

                Orthodox Christian Albanians - 107,491 - 42%
                Orthodox Vlachs - 13%
                Orthodox Greeks - 45%

"Now although in those earlier times, as I have said, all Epeirus and the Illyrian country were rugged and full of mountains, such as Tomarus and Polyanus and several others, still they were populous; but at the present time desolation prevails in most parts, p313 while the parts are still inhabited survive only in villages and in ruins. And even the oracle at Dodona, like the rest, is virtually extinct." - Strabo

"Many distinguished Greeks are of Vlach extraction, Coletti, Zalocosta, Costas Crystallis, Tositsas, Stournaras, and Averoff. Most of the merchants and leading persons at Janina and Metsovo are Vlachs." - Great Britain 1903

The Greeks considered Epirotes and Illyrians as "barbarians", and that Cadmus and Harmonia (who founded Thebes) were Illyrians.
