            MACEDONIAN & BULGARIAN GRAVESTONES
            IN TORONTO NECROPOLIS & CREMATORIUM

            CHARLES DOBIE : LOCAL HISTORY
            TORONTO, ONTARIO

What i want people to take note, is the dates of Birth and dates of Death.
They were all around the end of 19 century to the begining of the 20th century. Its a shame for Greeks the inscriptions were not altered on these stones.

Another thing to notice is the place of birth. I can't see Greece anywhere.

That would be a good idea Bratot. In fact, even better would be a more comprehensive collection that includes Macedonian military participation in the last couple of centuries that are specific to events, such as the Austro-Turkish wars, Russo-Turkish wars, Balkan Wars, WWI, WWII, etc.

Macedonians noted in a study on immigration to the Swedish city of Malmoe, 1973!

I found a very interesting book by accident when I was searching for material concerning us Macedonians in an old bookshop in Stockholm, Sweden.
The book is a research study on the immigration to the Swedish city of Malmö(Malmoe) and it was published in 1973.
We Macedonians are noted both by language and by ethnicity in the book.
Here are some examples, I will publish more later.

a little bit off-topic, sorry. but there is one thing i have been wondering about the scandinavic-german languages. they also use the "sk" as a grammatical ending for like "dansk".. "norsk".. "polsk" - same like in slavic languages. (except the additional "i" that we use).

                    Thanks for the source Daskalot.

Artemi, good question. Balto-Slavic does have some very old words that are connected to Germanic languages which may come from either a common source, interaction during the PIE period, or as a loan from one to the other.

                        Daskale,

can we paste this whole article and maybe save it as pdf slide on the forum in case the link disappear in future?

Check it... I think it's useful explanation:

can it get any clearer than that?

The amount of documents that we have here on the MTO must melt the brain of every Greek propagandist......

Video on the right and MPO doesn't support a name change; however, they invited a person that does which doesn't help our cause. MPO, continues to make positive strides; however, they still have to make up their minds regarding the "Macedonian Question" so the rest of us can accept them.

UMD and MPO are very similar today, no name change but keep talks alive.

                                NOTE

Andrea Alushev, has been the ONLY normal MPO president since day one of that organization. ALL, the other's before her don't count!
