![]() So lately I’ve had an interest in the more medieval history in Macedonia, but I haven’t been able to find much. I’ve found stuff about like Samoil, Marko, and our crest (the Illyrian Armorial). Do any of you know of sources where I can learn more about the time period? Like the medieval culture/language/states/mythology/folklore?. For example, do we have anything similar compared to the Russian bogatyr or knights in general from that time period? Some of the sources reference the general Slavic mythology like Perun/Veles, but none are Macedonia specific. Any help would be appreciated!
