Russia launched 36 missiles, choosing 36 out of tens of thousands of potential targets. They must have been very important.

For a country that supposedly isn't running out of critical materials and high-tech components, its sure using its "massive" stockpile vary sparingly and for some reason buying drones from Iran and artillery shells from North Korea.

The Battle of Bakhmut, which only began in 9 months ago in May 2022, will surely be concluding any day now and the Russians will be able to use it to advance towards...well, no one's really quite sure why they want Bakhmut. Maybe they've run out of salt. Some analysts think they need it to advance to Slovyansk, but they could attack that from the north through Lyman. Or, they could forget about both towns, by-pass them, and maneuver these tanks they're always bragging about through the fields rather than driving them along the highway in a tight column and making them easy targets like they have been doing for the past year. Let's say Bakhmut isn't about the salt and it's really about targeting Slovyansk. Where to from Slovyansk? Well, nowhere really. Nowhere that you can't get to from other places. Though, according to Wikipedia, Slovyansk is an important health resort, providing spa treatments and mud baths using mud from the bottom of salt lakes located nearby. I reckon that's it. The Russian genius of it all.

If the treaty was in place (and they are working hard on that) it would have further destroyed this nation by mandating toxic vaccinations and limiting our freedoms (no matter what the people of Australia want). Greg Hunt, the health minister who drove Australia into despair with the Covid response was former director of strategy with the WEF. Nothing to see here. How does he answer to people of Australia now that he is retired. Why have so many leaders around the world retired during the rollout of this most perverse era in history?

It's been a while since I've posted and I just read through about 5 pages straight of back & forth comments. Some might look at this and say it's getting ugly but I think there's nothing overly wrong with expressing some strong points of view about the subject matter on a forum such as this. Civility has probably gone out the window but pfft, whatever, at least it's an honest debate.

One clear picture that is emerging, I've noticed, is that each side of the debate is rubbishing the other's source of information on the gains/losses in Ukraine. Obviously each side will tend to believe their source of information and, if I'm being honest, I'd sooner believe the news coming out of Hindustan Times, even Russell Brand & the Redacted crew than anything the New York Times has to say. The New York Times has been continuously voted as the most left-leaning liberal newspaper in America for many years running. It is just another mouth piece for the deviant & twisted clown show that is the Biden Administration. In fact, calling the New York Times a news organisation is a bit of a stretch. Apparently, it used to pass as a professional and respected newspaper back in the 1970's and, maybe even during the early 80's but there's no way there is anything unbiased coming out of that cesspool of liberal-minded propaganda.

Are you suggesting that because Hunt worked for the WEF 20 years ago (2000-2001) his sole life mission now is to implement a worldwide WEF conspiracy? And the only evidence you are able to provide is drawing a line between those two dots?

I think that as a human being, Hunt is much more complex than that. I think that during Covid it's possible that governments around the world saw some new disease coming out of China with all these people dying and just crapped themselves. I think it's possible they panicked and, being stupid politicians, really had no idea what to do. I think they were getting conflicting advice and trying to placate competing interests from various factions within government, from health lobbyists, from bureaucrats and the opposing views from the electorate. I think they massively fucked it up (but I also think some silver linings came out of it as well).

I don't think Hunt is a WEF zombie that has dedicated his life to implementing Klaus' dream. I think that he is much more complex in that he may agree with some of Klaus' ideas and disagree with others. I think he probably takes what he likes and discards what he doesn't. Much like the rest of humanity.

Its these whimsy, shallow and ill-thoughtout theories that you harp on about that make you the black and white one. "America is evil. Corporations are evil. Russia is good". You're telling me I can't see the gray, but if you actually read my posts you'll notice that I usuallty only comment on very specific issues - I typically don't generalise like you do. You're a self-described 50 shades of gray, but where is your nuance that you say you have? I've never in all these years seen it anywhere.

Finally, when I state an opinion I usually preface it with "I think". In English, that means the writer is not making an absolute, unqualified statement or claiming to state the truth. It just means that the following is the writer's opinion. It means the writer is acknowledging that they might be wrong, but it's going to require joining more than two dots, 20 years apart, to convince them. You seem to miss that completely.
