Poor Macedonians were used as pawns for their neighbour's greedy plans in order to assimilate Macedonians and expand their newly created state borders.

VMRO, do you think the Association of Serbo-Macedonians in the late 1880s, which included Temko Popov, were srbomani or just Serb-aligned at the time?

From reading Temko Popov's work (Its in that two volume set History of the Macedonian people) these were Macedonians who viewed Serbia as a nation that could benefit Macedonia. The issue with this thesis is that it made Macedonians believe that they're dependent on Serbia.

Both of them have been deprived and tormented.
