Burovic also stated that when the modern Albanians migrated to the Mat Region (sometime in the 800's AD), they met here the small indigenous / original Albanoi - who were a people and tribe of Celtic origin. What Burovic did not mention - but I say it here - is that (if this is true) these Celtic Albanoi must have been completely Romanized by this time, and spoke a Latinate language (since we know that Celtic languages or dialects were not known/recorded/spoken in the Balkans at this time).
