Mate, I cannot believe he is not a more important person in Macedonia's history. Anything we can do to honour him would be good. Please ask your friend to chase his people up.

Yes Risto he was and will the only one partisan who believe just for Macedonia.
There are lot of dark dots in our history, foundation of our Macedonia.
I think that was open foundation on his name, his family is still digging in ex communist file, how he was separate from political life and how he was his life by him self.

Great person -believer and founder of new Macedonia society.

Risto, I believe the fact that he is not more important stems from the belief that people in Macedonia have today that we must be quiet and not talk about reuniting Macedonia and we should forget the Egejci and Pirinci. Essentially, this was Chento's main objective, which is why he was killed.

We know he was a Prilepcanec. I just remembered my friend, who is very active in the local Macedonian community and also writes for a few Macedonian newspapers, is from Prilep. I will ask him the next time I see him.

On the a1 news yesterday was announced

5 Sculptures were made for the VMRO museum and victims from the communist days.

- Shatev
- Chento
- Gruev
- Petrov
- and Goce i think

Same kind of sculptures as the Alexander's one on the airport!

Here is a documentary I found most interesting on Utube. It exposes those Macedonians whom gave up Cento and why he was killed. Also tells us about how Belgrade and Athens worked together to get Macedonians on both sides of the border to lose respect and brotherhood for one another.

It was Belgrade who created the term Egejska and Egejci to create division amongst the people.

Interesting. My sisterinlaw's father from Bitola refuses to say Egej ... he says Belomorska Makedonija.

Pavle Mevchev and Atanas Popov from Vrbeni and Boreshnica joined them in early 1927, they were soon after transferred to Kozhani and executed. As they were leaving Lerin they were heard to shout "With our death, Macedonia will not be lost. Our blood will run, but other Macedonians will rise from it"
