I can see motivation for Wagner money people using casualties as an excuse to justify more payment for future campaigns. Similar stuff is on CNN. I doubt we'll ever know the true statistics on both sides.

The latest US politician to visit Kiev, Republican Senator, Lindsey Graham, has infuriated Moscow with his disgraceful comments during a meeting with Zelensky recently. While expressing his support for Ukraine's resistance, he can be heard congratulating himself on behalf of the US for supplying Ukraine with NATO weapons. "And the Russians are dying. Best money we've ever spent," Graham can be heard saying before proceeding to shake hands with an approving Zelensky as they both smirk over what has just been stated. The optics paint an ugly picture indeed. He tried to explain away the comments by saying he was taken out of context. If there is another context which excuses taking pleasure in wishing the death of fellow human beings, I'd like to see it. Trump said it best in a recent Town Hall meeting (that was hosted by CNN of all networks) when he said that it was a tragedy that many young men are being killed on both sides, Russian and Ukrainian.

The demonisation of the Russian people by the western media and western governments is a disgrace.

The Republicans have too many of those types in the party to clearly make a point of difference from the lunatics on the Left.
