lots of different facts have been posted on this site and they have been great i had no idea there was this much information available particularly the old newspaper clippingsbut has anyone tried to collate them as a timeline body of evidence.

i once heard the greek scribes with alexander wrote down some words phonetically because they could not understand them and that these words were and similar or the same as modern macedonian words. wouldn’t this weigh heavily in the name debate. is there any evidence of this.

This is exactly why we are here, to educate our fellow Macedonians and the world, we have been noted in history on a multitude of occasions, it is just that our negaters sweeps these facts under the carpet, and hope that nobody will find it..... but hey presto here we are and we have a bucket load of articles, newspaper clippings, maps, books... you name it.

Well a few things give him away that he is full of shit.

First of all lets look at his quote, " the slavophone people of Skopia and Pirin region of Bulgaria are exslavized linguistically Greeks." Now why would he mention Pirin region of Bulgaria, where he only calls our region Skopje, but is afraid to use Macedonia. I smell a racist, Brain washed rat. A Profesional would not be biased or scared to use a word Macedonia or Republic of Macedonia like many Greek authers have before. So i take this as he has ill motives. You can not be good at a subject where your mind is poluted with bias and propaganda and you cant think out side the box.

This youtube user is not saying "you dirty slavobulgarian gypsys!!!".. for a reason. To make the bullshit information look Profesional or truthful and unbiased. i am sure he is thinking ""you dirty slavobulgarian gypsys!!!".. evan though he does not say it. These slime are all the same.

                Sounds Albanian to me

No Macedonian would go by that name.

Sory Prolet. you replied to my post but i deleted it so i don't cuase any waves. But my question, in which Prolet replied to was,

"I find Artemi a interesting name and have never heard of it."

Though i don't think its Albanian Prolet. I googled the name and there are a few Russians that poped up with that name.

Artemis was the ancient goddess of the hunt, and of virgins.

Thanks Spartan. I just came across the wiki explanation.

Quote:"Artemis (pronunciation in Ancient Greek: /ártemis/) was one of the most widely venerated of the Ancient Greek deities. In the classical period of Greek mythology, Artemis (Greek: (nominative) Ἄρτεμις, (genitive) Ἀρτέμιδος) was often described as the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of forests and hills, childbirth, virginity, fertility, the hunt, and often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows."

So this name comes from the classical period of Greek Mythology. But can i ask you something. Are there any Greeks in the Modern days that are named Artemis? i know there are a few Russians minus the "s" on the end.

people, it's just a simple video i posted with a simple question.. that is all about it.
and i'm no Albanian, and my real name's not artemi, god..

i found that name in a Macedonian "church booklet" where i read a list with old male Macedonian names. I know in Albania "artem" is used for males, as well as "artemij" in russia or ukraine.

once again, i didn't mean to offend anyone.
